About Dr. Emeka

Dr. Emeka is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Port Harcourt, where he obtained bachelor's degree in human Anatomy with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) and also holds bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from the same Institution. While in the University of Portharcourt, He was elected President, Portharcourt University Medical Association 2004/2005. He is concluding his Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Nigeria. He is a graduate member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM)and holds proficiency Certificate in Management.He is a specialist Paediatrician with interest in Social and Preventive Paediatrics.He has worked in several Tertiary Health Institutions on supernumerary basis especially in COOUTH where he did junior residency in Paediatrics.

He has a 15 year experience in managed care operations/quality assurance and marketing having served in various roles in Venus Medicare ltd as Head Claims Management Unit, Head Provider Management Unit and Head Member Services Unit before his current position where he oversees operations in Anambra, Delta and Edo States. He has attended several conferences and Updates on Child Health, Medical Education, health insurance,public health and managed care business.He is happily married to Dr Adaobi and they are blessed with 4 beautiful children.
